Beauty Box 5 - June 2014 Review

THE SCOOP:
Hey everyone! I'm back again with a Beauty Box 5 review. The June BB5 theme is "Summer Chic." With the first day of summer approaching quickly, this box is perfect for any beauty lover to prepare for the warmer months.
Beauty Box 5 is a subscription service that sends you 5 beauty products each month. The box is $12 a month for a month-to-month subscription, but you can save money if you buy a quarterly or yearly subscription. If you are a first-time subscriber, use the code "614FREE" for a free box.

CONTENTS:

Nicka K New York Nail Color in Big Apple: Full Size, $4.99
BB5 sent every subscriber this nail polish in red or lavender. I would have preferred the lavender, but this is a beautiful, rich red color with lots of shine. I also like the short brush for easy application and less clean-up! I will wear this more in the fall months.

Vitabath Body Wash in Dreamy Pink Frosting: Sample Size, $1.33
This body wash smells like cake, and it's free of mineral oils, silicone, and propylene glycol. What more could I ask for? The lather from this body wash feels very luxiorious, and it's very moisturizing.

Glam Natural Mascara in Black: Sample Size, $14.00
This mascara boasts a gluten-free, paraben-free, vegan, and hypoallergenic formula for sensitive eyes. I like this mascara for more natural makeup days. I typically enjoy more volume, but this formula would be perfect to layer under another mascara because it provides great separation.

Organix Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner: Sample Size, $0.30
This shampoo and conditioner set is charged with electrolytes and coconut oil for healthy, shiny hair. The smell is wonderful if you are a coconut lover like I am! These have an ultra-light formula that feels weightless and leaves your hair bouncy and clean. It's also sulfate-free.

Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit: Sample Size, $15.00
This Eslor sample kit came with foil packets of the Soothing Refiner and Cleanser, Replenishing Scrub, Comforting Mask, and Soothing Cream. These are paraben-free, so no worries on that front! I really enjoyed the moisture that the Soothing Cream provided after using the exfoliating Replenishing Scrub. I also thought the Comforting Mask felt great on my skin and left my face extremely soft.

With a value of about $36, I am very pleased with the June 2014 Beauty Box 5. I like the products that were included, and I will get a lot of use out of the nail polish, mascara, and body wash. I am looking forward to purchasing some Eslor products once I need replacements of my skincare.
