THE SCOOP:
Hey everyone! I have another Beauty Box 5 review for you. The September BB5 theme is "Balancing Act," encouraging subscribers to embrace the fine line between taking care of responsibilities and following new fall trends.
Beauty Box 5 is a subscription service that sends out 5 beauty products each month. The box is $12 a month for a month-to-month subscription, but you can save money if you buy a quarterly or yearly subscription. BB5 also offers half-off or free intro boxes regularly, so keep an eye on my blog for upcoming coupon codes.
THE BOX:
Nicka K New York Eyelight Crayon - Violet (full size, $4.49)
This is a creamy eyeshadow stick that can work as an eyeshadow on its own or a base for powder shadows. BB5 suggests using this as a liner and smudging the color for a smokey eye. My favorite way to use this is as a base for an everyday neutral eye look. The subtle pop of purple is long-lasting and adds some fun to my look!
Natural Style by FUBU Deep Conditioner and Co-Wash (sample, $1.00)
This hair product is meant to cleanse your hair while conditioning it, removing the need for a shampoo, which can often be too harsh on hair. FUBU is full of eight reparative oils and shea butter to soften and strengthen hair. As a bonus, this has no sulfates or parabens.
Sally Hansen toe spacers ($1.99/pair)
These toe spacers have a cute pattern and flexible material. BB5 sent out some red glittery toe spacers several months ago. I threw those out in favor of these, because the glitter was getting everywhere! I am happy to have a backup for at-home pedicures.
My Beauty Spot nail polish (full size, $4.15)
The polish that I received does not have a name, but it is a gorgeous brown/mauve cream. I think this is the perfect pick for a fall mani/pedi! The formula is thick, yet dries quickly, so it is extremely convenient for on-the-go nail painting.
Chrislie Formulations Lashem 3-in-1 Eye Bright serum (sample size, $13.60)
I am always in need of a product that can lighten my dark undereyes and help me appear more awake and well-rested. This serum glides on smoothly and gives my eyes a cooling feeling. I will have to continue to use this to see if my skin is firmer, smoother, and brighter as a result!

RECAP:
The September BB5 features some great products for fall. The My Beauty Spot nail polish and Nicka K Eyelight Crayon will be put to good use in the coming months. I am excited to keep using the Lashem 3-in-1 Eyebright and FUBU Co-Wash to see if I get results. The toe spacers will also come in handy, and I love when BB5 sends out universally useful products!
